Host your own ‘Out of the Closet’ clothing exchange party. Support the campaign ‘Stopping Violence Against Women, in Pakistan’
Imagine this: It’s the afternoon. Shakira has put you in the mood to move (must be the hips don’t lie chorus , you’ve got the bedroom windows open, you’re drinking something tame, and you’re, gasp, cleaning out your closet. You feel happy about seeing a clutter free, tidy closet. You see yourself getting rid of all those shirts that are too tight and pants that are too baggy (and probably pieces you have never worn). Not to worry, you think. Someone else will enjoy them more. Slowly you bag up all your once cherished belongings. Later that day, at a party, you drink champagne, eat cupcakes and swap clothes with your favorite girlfriends! You leave with bags of brilliant, new (to you) items. This is better than rummaging in any vintage store. It’s a Style Clinic by Astin Brown Party.
The concept is simple: a number of women get together to trade their wears, and raise money for the campaign Stopping Violence Against Women, in
